Dear Fellow Human,
My name is Wolfe Erikson: a queer, twenty-something millennial with a keen sense of adventure. Like many others, upon graduating university I was a bit lost…
Okay, truth be told, I had no sense of direction.
It was almost like holding a compass, but everything had suddenly magnetized, leaving me with a spinning arrow and no way to find North. Stranded amid too many “almost” opportunities in different careers, I was paralyzed by the risk of choosing incorrectly.
To put it bluntly, I didn’t choose. Well… not yet. Instead, my best friend Anya Milioutina and I packed our bags and caught the first one-way flight out of the States and our comfort zones. As full-time digital nomads, we’re currently working on various artistic ventures, and simultaneously discarding our well-worn security blankets. Failure looms, but the opportunity for growth far exceeds any half-baked opportunity I was previously exposed to.
To quote an unknown source (quite fitting in this digital age), “To those who stay put, the world is but an imaginary place. But to the movers, the makers, and the shakers, the world is all around, an endless invitation.”
